OUR WORK
Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting since 1951 humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Jordan, IOM provides specific services to the Jordanian government to manage the migratory flows.

The overall objective of the EU-funded project "Building the Jordanian Governmental Capacity in Responding to Emergencies and Managing Migration Flows" is to further build the capacity of the Jordanian Authorities on border and migration management within the context of the ongoing Syrian crisis. The specific objective of the project is to improve the Government of Jordan’s preparedness in responding to cross border migration flows through capacity-building and targeted infrastructural support.
